Discography (from "disk", the generalized name of music records regardless of medium, and "... graph") is a complete list of sound records , usually musical, released in various forms in mass circulation, regardless of medium , and combined into a single list by the name under which the entry was distributed. If the list contains only records selected according to some narrower attribute within the same name (for example, based on instrumental artist, vocalist , record producer , circulation volume , author of text or music , belonging to a record label , genre , etc. ), then it is called the selected discography .
