Earlier Systems
The order of Caryophyllales in the classification system of Takhtadzhyan ( 1997 ) is, but is understood in a narrower sense. According to its species composition, the order of Caryophyllales in the APG II system approximately corresponds to the subclass Caryophyllidae in the Takhtadzhyan classification system .
In the Kronquist classification system ( 1981 ), the order consists of the following families :
- Aizoaceae, or Aizoaceae ( Aizoaceae )
- Amaranth, or Sharytsevy ( Amaranthaceae )
- Achatocarpaceae ( Achatocarpaceae )
- Basellaceae
- Cloves ( Caryophyllaceae )
- Didieri ( Didiereaceae )
- Cactus ( Cactaceae )
- Lakonosovye ( Phytolaccaceae )
- Harem, or Swan ( Chenopodiaceae )
- Whorled ( Molluginaceae )
- Nyctaginaceae ( Nyctaginaceae )
- Purslane ( Portulacaceae )
