History
GRASS has been developed since 1982 with the participation of the US government, research institutes and companies.
Implementation Features
This software (software) is built on the principle of modularity and integrates many different modules that solve problems from visualization to import / export to various data formats. Initially, the system is focused on working with the command line, but now there are two graphical interfaces to this system.
