Biography
At the Art School, Nancy studied architecture, also traveled quite a lot for educational purposes - he visited Egypt , Tunisia , Italy , and in early 1901 he finally settled in Nancy.
In Nancy, he worked with his father, the architect Charles Andre, and later began to work with Eugene Wallen . Together with Wallen, they developed the architectural principles of a new style - Art Nouveau .
At the Art School, Nancy Andre was a leading teacher of architecture and applied art.
As an artist, Andre created furniture, as an architect, he designed and built several residential buildings in Nancy, the facades of which are marked by the ability to skillfully apply various materials in the design. The architect stood out among his colleagues at Nancy with the freedom to apply the principles of Art Nouveau in engineering and design. His work has received various awards.
