Bikbaev, Ravil Tukhvatovich

Bikbaev Ravil Tukhvatovich was born on December 12, 1938 in the village of Verkhniy Kunakbai of the Perevolotsky District of the Orenburg Region. In 1953 he graduated from a seven-year school, in 1953-1957 he studied at the Ak-Bulak Pedagogical School. He graduated from the philological faculty of Bashkir State University ( 1962 ). After graduating from university in 1962–65, he studied at the graduate school of the Institute of History, Language and Literature of the Bashkir Branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences . Since 1965, a researcher in the Department of Literature of the Institute of History, Language and Literature of the Ufa Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences . In 1966 he defended his thesis on the topic "Modern Bashkir poem", in 1996 - a doctoral dissertation. Chairman of the Board of the Union of Writers of the Republic of Bashkortostan (1995-2011), secretary, co-chairman of the board of the Union of Writers of Russia . In the period from 2008 to 2013 - Chairman of the Committee on Education, Science, Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs of the State Assembly - Kurultay of the Republic of Bashkortostan . Fruitfully combines poetry and science with multifaceted literary and social activities.

Ravil Tukhvatovich began to engage in creative activities in his student years. Published since 1957 . In 1962, in the magazine "Agidel" his first poem "Station" was published, in which he declared himself as a mature, original, talented poet of a lyrical-philosophical attitude and warehouse. The fate of the country and the fate of a small homeland - a village, a homeland, neighbors, a generation that endured all the hardships of wartime - are embodied in the image of the station. The fate of the woman who spent her husband at this station for the war and now her son in the army is also reflected. The theme of the war, posed for the first time in the poem "Station", remained one of the main in the work of Ravil Bikbaev. In 1964, the first poetry book Steppe Dali was published, followed by others, which earned him well-deserved recognition both in the world of poetry and in the world of science.

The author of more than 100 poetic, literary and research works and books. The creativity of Ravil Tukhvatovich Bikbaev is characterized by the historicism of thinking, the desire for a philosophical generalization of life phenomena. The most important place is occupied by the themes of the native language, culture and the historical fate of the people. The acute problems of time are reflected in the poetic monologue “Letter to my people” ( 1982 ), poems “Quench your thirst!” ( 1989 ), “Bazaar ax” ( 1993 ). Bikbaev's poetry is distinguished by its vivid imagery, original symbolism. The poet made a significant contribution to the development of epic genres in poetry.

As a scientific researcher, he was always interested in the poetic and spiritual world of his contemporaries and predecessors, the most pressing problems of the development of Bashkir poetry and literature. He published research on modern Bashkir poetry, philosophical lyrics: “Time. Poet. The People ”( 1986 ),“ The Evolution of Modern Bashkir Poetry ”( 1991 ),“ Shaikhzada Babich: Life and Creativity ”( 1995 ),“ The Poet's Word is the Poet's Conscience ”( 1997 ) - this is not a complete list of his scientific studies on literary criticism and literary criticism, published not only in Ufa, but also in Moscow.

Some of his works have been translated into German , Turkish , Ukrainian , Kazakh , Yakut , Chuvash , Karakalpak , Altai and other languages.

Ravil Tukhvatovich Bikbaev takes an active part in the cultural and public life of the Republic of Bashkortostan , constantly appears in the press with sharp journalistic and critical articles.

In the journalism’s book “The Year of Man” ( 2003 ), which included articles, speeches and interviews of Ravil Tukhvatovich Bikbaev, the spiritual face of the renewed Bashkortostan , the complex spiritual searches of our contemporaries, and the urgent problems of our life, which are inextricably intertwined in dialectical unity, are reflected struggle in the second half of the twentieth century and at the beginning of the new millennium.

In 1990-2000, Ravil Bikbaev traveled a lot, presenting Bashkir literature in the USA , France , Turkey , South Korea , Germany , and the CIS countries . The poet’s trips were reflected in travel notes that made up the travel book “At the Dawn I Go On the Road” ( 2002 ) - a new genre for Bashkir literature.

In 2007, Ravil Tukhvatovich Bikbaev was appointed a member of the Presidential Council of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

The national poet died on April 23, 2019 after a serious illness ^[2] . He was buried in the Muslim cemetery in Ufa ^[3]
