Geographical position
The village is located on the watershed of the Kuma ( Caspian Sea ), Kuban ( Azov Sea ) and Kalaus basins , 10 km northwest of the Kursavka district center. Railway station Watershed on the line Armavir - Mineralnye Vody . 1 km south of the village passes the Great Stavropol Canal .
History
The Rybalkin farm at the railway station was formed by immigrants from the villages of Krasnoyarsk and Kazinka in 1918.
During the famine of 1933, up to a third of the inhabitants of the village died. At the fronts of World War II, 240 villagers died.
From August 1942 until the beginning of 1943, the village was occupied by the Germans. From 1992 to 1994, the local state farm was under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
