Holmenkollen ( Norwegian Holmenkollen ) is part of the Vestre Aker district in Oslo , the capital of Norway . Located on a hill and is the highest point of the city.

Holmenkollen Resort is an all-season resort and one of the 50 most famous sights of the country. Sports Infrastructure
The current 115-meter ski jump , created back in 1892 and rebuilt several times later. To descend from it, skiers must have a special license.

Observation deck on top of the main ski jump. It offers incredible views of the Oslo panorama.
Ski museum. Opened in 1923. It includes a huge exposition of skis of various shapes, sizes and purposes, as well as a collection of documents and exhibits related to the conquest of the North Pole and the ski traditions of the Norwegian royal family.

How to get there
By car: Take the Oslo ring road at Smectad and follow the directions for Holmenkollen Skijumping Hill. It takes about 20 minutes.
By metro from Oslo: Take line No. 1 to the first stop, Holmenkollen.
