Geographical position
In the north and east, the urban settlement Lesnaya Polyana borders on the Kuznechikhinsky rural settlement , in the south and west it borders on the Zavolzhsky administrative district of the urban district of the city of Yaroslavl . The development of the urban-type settlement Lesnaya Polyana is impossible in relation to the city of Yaroslavl. At the same time, however, the territory of Yaroslavl adjacent to Lesnaya Polyana is relatively poorly used; its more active development began in the 2000s - the construction of the Jubilee Bridge over the Volga and the Yaroslavl Zoo . Residential areas of Yaroslavl are at some distance from Lesnaya Polyana. [2]
Lesnaya Polyana is located at the exit of the federal highway " Kholmogory " Moscow - Vologda - Arkhangelsk from Yaroslavl, immediately after the cutting of the Jubilee bridge over the Volga (Lesnaya Polyana is located on its left bank); further along the road to the northeast is located the village of Kuznechykha . To the south from the village, to the Oktyabrsky Bridge over the Volga, into the center of Yaroslavl , Yaroslavl Street Shevelyukha goes ; in close proximity to Lesnaya Polyana, the Yaroslavl Zoo is located on it. To the southeast of the village, the road to Yakovlevsky , a former village, now part of Yaroslavl, and to the Yaroslavl Regional Hospital, departs. To the north of the village there is a road to the Tolgsky Monastery and the Rezinotekhnika village, which are part of Yaroslavl, and the village of Tolgobol, Yaroslavl District. [2]
History
The village of agricultural machinery repair workers at the Yaroslavl repair and technical station (RTS) (now the company PK PK Yaroslavich) in the suburb of Yaroslavl was founded in 1957. At the suggestion of the population, it was given the name Forest Glade, since it was located near the birch forest. In 1987, the local administration was organized - the village council . In 2005, the urban settlement "Forest Glade" was established. [3]
Structure
The main territory of the village, in the south-eastern part of which the Yaroslavl repair and technical enterprise is located, and in the north-west - the residential zone (28 residential and 5 non-residential buildings), is bounded from the east by the Kholmogory highway, and from the north by the Rubber Technology road, behind them are potato fields (the territory of the Kuznechikhinsky rural settlement); to the west of the village is a forest park, and to the south - garages, and behind them also the Kholmogory highway (the territory of Yaroslavl). Also to the village is located a little to the north Zheleznodorozhnaya street (7 residential buildings). [2]
The area of Lesnaya Polyana is 40 hectares, including a residential zone of 9.5 hectares, a public business zone of 3 hectares, a production zone of 15.1 hectares, a zone of transport infrastructure of 11.5 hectares, a recreation zone of 1 hectares. Due to the limited territory of the urban settlement and the complete lack of space for development in Lesnaya Polyana, only sealing construction and replacement of worn-out houses with more storey buildings is possible. [2]
Environmental conditions
Lesnaya Polyana is located in a temperate continental climate zone with cold winters and moderately warm summers. Average annual temperatures range from +2.9 to +3.5 ° C. South-west wind prevails. Rainfall averages 500-750 mm per year; in wet years up to 1000 mm, in dry years - 300-350 mm. Liquid precipitation - 68-75%, mixed - 12-15%, solid - 16-23%. The maximum precipitation is observed in July, the minimum in spring, the largest number of days with precipitation in October. More precipitation in the summer-autumn period. The average depth of soil freezing is 85 cm, the maximum - 149 cm. The beginning of spring thawing of the soil to a depth of 10 cm - April 7-12, complete thawing - in early May. [2]
Hydrographic network in the village is missing. Not far from the village to the west flows the Volga . There are quarries south of the village, some of which are used for recreation. [2]
