His main work, The Austrian Chronicle ( lat. Chronicon Austriae ), presents an extremely detailed history of Austria for that time from ancient times until 1463. The first volume of this work was presented in 1451 to the Holy Roman Emperor Frederick III , who asked the author to make a brief retelling of it [1] .
Although the author was not particularly critical of the information he cited, this flaw was atoned for in numerous details, great accuracy, and complete objectivity. For the history of Austria from 1404 to 1463, this work is a necessary and main source. It is printed in the first volume published by Pez “Scriptores rer. austr. vet. ". Ebendorfer's other important work, Diarium gestorum per legatos concilii Basileensis pro reductione Bohemorum, is published in the first volume of Scr. Concil. Basil. "(1857) as part of" Monum. concilii Basileensis. " [2]
