Victorin Strigel ( German: Viktorin Strigel ; 1524 , Kaufbeuren - 1569 , Heidelberg ) is a Protestant theologian, disciple and follower of Philip Melanchthon .

As a professor at the University of Jena , he was persecuted as an adherent of synergy . In 1562 he moved to Leipzig , from there to Wittenberg , and finally to Heidelberg . The main work is “Loci theologici” (1581-1584)
