About the Foundation
It was founded in Moscow by Elena Berezkina in 2006 for the development of contemporary Russian art as part of the global art process, the establishment of international artistic relations, and support for initiatives in the field of contemporary art.
The fund supports projects in the following areas:
- Studying the history of Russian contemporary art .
- Carrying out programs aimed at developing the current artistic process.
In 2010, the Era fund and the Children's Hearts charity fund, with the support of Sotheby's auction house, held the first charity auction of Russian photography as part of the project “See Paris ... and live!” [1] .
