Performance data for parachute parts
- The exhaust rope is designed to turn on the control panel and to open the knapsack and pull the cover from the dome. represents LTKMkrP-27-1200 nylon tape with a strength of 1200 kgf and a length of 3000 mm with two loops. At one end it has a snap hook snap fastener, at the other end there is a loop for attaching the dome cover. At a distance of 1400 mm from this loop is another loop for attaching the exhaust cable. To protect the exhaust rope from burns, a cover is put on it, made of cotton tape LHBMkr-35-260, in the form of a hollow hose. The same covers are worn on all loops of the rope and on the carbine.
- The dome cover is designed to orderly fill the dome and reduce cases of overlapping it with slings. for laying the canopy and slings into it, as well as for streamlining the process of opening the parachute and reducing the dynamic impact when opening the parachute. Made of percale or nylon orange. made of cotton fabric percale "B" red or orange (art. 7015kr). It has the shape of a sleeve 5028 mm long. Throughout the entire length, the cover is stitched with 4 reinforcing tapes that form a bridle at the top. At the top there are also two pockets, which, filled with air, contribute to the rapid pulling of the cover from the canopy of the parachute. At the bottom of the case are a locking apron with two windows for passing double removable honeycombs, two pairs of double removable honeycombs, eleven pairs of single fixed honeycombs, two pockets for a laying frame and a protective apron-skirt.
- Ball exhaust parachute (ball screw) - designed to pull the cover from the main dome. It consists of the base of a parachute and a spring mechanism. The upper part of the base of the parachute has a hemispherical shape and is made of kapron cloth, and the lower part, fastened around the perimeter of the hemisphere to the upper, is made of kapron mesh. The area of the parachute is 0.22 m².
- The canopy with slings is designed for safe landing in a given place. The dome is round in shape, made of percale, with an area of 82.5 m². It consists of four sectors, each of which is sewn from five panels. To give strength on the surface of the dome, a reinforcing frame of kapron tapes with a tensile strength of 150 kgs is sewn, forming 28 loops around the perimeter, to which 28 lines of tensile strength of 125 kgf are attached, 8.87 meters long from the edge of the dome to the half rings of the suspension system. In the center of the dome there is a pole hole with a diameter of 430 mm. Between the slings at the edge of the dome pockets are sewn, accelerating the filling of the dome. On the cloth between the slings 27-28, 28-1, 1-2 triangular holes (between the slings 28-1 on the edge of the mark). When air leaves them, a reactive force is created that moves the dome in the horizontal direction. To control the dome, nylon control slings are mounted to the slings 28 and 1, red brakes (in the common boss) are mounted to them (the strength of the control lines for breaking is 150 kgf).
- Suspension system - made of kapron tape with a strength of 1600 kgf. It consists of a circular webbing, chest strap, leg girths, staples with a retainer, a pocket for the ring, back and shoulder girths, free ends 560 mm long. Metal half rings are sewn to the four free ends of the suspension system for attaching the slings of the dome.
- Satchel - designed for laying in it the dome in the case, part of the slings, part of the free ends of the suspension system and the exhaust ball parachute. Using special straps, the satchel is attached to the suspension system. The satchel consists of a bottom, reinforced by a frame of rigidity, and 4 valves envelope-shaped. The middle cone has been replaced with a silk cord (80 kgf) for ease of installation (instead of a triple, the cone-grommet-hairpin is a triple cord-grommet-hairpin), as well as to avoid possible jamming of side valves (when using the triple cone-grommet-hairpin on earlier versions When pulling the studs, the knapsack of the ball exhaust chute often propped up the cone in the grommet, and the valves remained closed, which led to a complete failure of the "non-disclosure of the knapsack" type). Has knapsacks. The length of a single knapsack rubber with pendants is 370 mm (there are 7 such rubber on the knapsack), the length of a double is 385 mm.
- Flexible hoses - made of a metal sleeve covered with cotton tape. The ends of the hose with tape are tucked into the caps. Hose length - 515 mm, designed to guide the movement of the exhaust cable. A flexible manual opening hose is sewn at one end to the upper valve of the satchel, the other to the suspension system above the pocket of the exhaust ring. The forced-opening flexible hose is sewn with only one end to the satchel top valve. The other end of it in the laid state of the parachute for jumping with the force to pull the cover from the main dome is tucked under the knapsack valve, and when opened manually, into the loops on the right side valve.
- Manual opening exhaust ring (left hose) - consists of a housing, a cable, three studs and a stopper. Case - trapezoidal shape of steel wire, diameter 7 mm, painted in red. Cable pins are located at a distance of 150 mm from one another. The first hairpin, counting from the ring, is 38 mm long, the other two - 32 mm. The cable length from the end of the last stud to the stopper is 1070 mm.
- Extraction ring with a cable loop (left hose) - is designed to open in the event of a loose rope or to simulate manual opening. The length of the cable from the loop to the limiter is 785 mm.
- The exhaust cable (right hose) - has 3 studs on one ring and a loop on the other. The studs are located at a distance of 150 mm from each other. The length of the first hairpin, counting from the loop, is 38 mm, the other two are 32 mm, the cable length from the end of the last hairpin to the loop is 1015 mm.
- Safety cover for the exhaust cable - made of raincoat fabric, has the shape of a sleeve 990 mm long. Designed to prevent damage to aircraft skin.
- Carrying bag - squared from avisenta-a. It has 2 handles. Dimensions: 600 * 260 * 740.
- Passport - designed to record information about the reception, transfer, operation and repair of the parachute. Passport is an integral part of the parachute.
Methods of implementation
The parachute has three ways of putting into action:
- Forced opening of the knapsack with pulling the cover from the dome with an exhaust halyard. The exhaust halyard carabiner is attached to the cable in an airplane. After separating the paratrooper, the exhaust halyard is pulled to the first loop, the exhaust rope pins come out of the cone locks, the knapsack is stripped, the exhaust halyard is pulled to the second loop under the influence of the mass of the paratrooper, the dome comes out in the case, the slings come out of the honeycombs on the satchel, from the honeycombs on the cover, it breaks break line, cover is forcibly pulled by plane from the dome. The time elapsing from the moment of separation from the aircraft to the full filling of the canopy of the parachute is about 3 seconds.
- Forced opening of the knapsack with pulling the cover from the dome with a ball-mounted, drawless parachute (in this case, the exhaust halyard is not attached to the cover). The exhaust halyard carabiner is attached to the cable in an airplane. After the paratrooper’s separation from the aircraft, the exhaust halyard is pulled under the influence of its mass, the exhaust cable pins come out of the cone locks, the satchel is stripped, the ball-free parachute comes out, pulls the canopy in the case behind it, the slings come out of the honeycombs on the satchel, from the honeycombs on the cover, the ball parachute pulls the cover from the dome to the length of the string. Airflow enters the pockets at the edge of the dome. The dome is filled with simultaneous retraction of the cover. Strenga consists of a nylon cord with a length of 1010 mm (double folding) and a strength of 550 kgf. The ball exhaust parachute is attached to the dome cover and stregovoy - to the pole of the parachute.
- Manual disclosure of a satchel. The knapsack is stripped by hand, by the paratrooper with the help of the exhaust ring after a predetermined period of time or at a certain height, as well as with the help of the PPK-U -7575A safety device, if for some reason the paratrooper did not do this on his own.
