Once upon a time, huge snakes lived on the earth, which were called Imugi. According to ancient Korean legends, they lived in the sky above the earth, and every 500 years, one Imugi received a reward for his exploits - a chance to turn into a heavenly dragon. And in order to become a celestial dragon, Imugi had to receive a gift from Heiju from heaven. This great power turns the Imoogi into a dragon. But once among the great snakes appeared the evil snake Buraki. He decided to kidnap Yoiju. His followers wanted to have great power, and this could not remain without consequences. It was decided to hide Yoiju. All heaven could do was send his best warriors to protect Yoiju from the Buraki warriors at all costs. But they did not take into account that the evil Buraki also knew where to look for Yoiju. The power entered into a born girl in a Korean family. When the girl was 20 years old, Yoiju's power was fully formed. She had the power to turn the Imoogi into a dragon. The child bears the sign of the Red Dragon.

At the age of 20, Narin became not only a beautiful woman, but also a well-trained warrior. The young man Haram fell in love with her. The evil Buraki gathered his warriors and attacked the village where Narin lived. That day Haram despised the will of the gods and fled with Narin, but Buraki chased after them, until they had nothing to do but jump from the rocks into the sea, where they died together. And Buraki lost the opportunity to become an omnipotent dragon. That is why he was waiting for a new opportunity and 500 years later appeared in Los Angeles .

Haram and Narin got a second chance to fulfill their destiny, having been born 500 years later in the bodies of journalist Ethan Kendrick and the girl Sarah. Buraki and his followers chased Sarah, sowing terror and destroying Los Angeles. Buraki commands numerous dinosaur-like monsters that his followers use (including winged reptiles similar to western dragons). Perhaps this was the reason that the original name of “Dragon War” was translated into Russian as “Dinosaur Wars”.
