BBC Sessions is an album by British rock band Led Zeppelin , released on November 11, 1997 by Atlantic Records . The disc contains some concert and studio recordings of the group, for the BBC . This is the first release of Led Zeppelin after a fifteen-year hiatus. The first disc contains records from four different group sessions at the BBC in 1969 . The second disc is mainly compiled from recordings at a concert at the Paris Theater in London ( April 1, 1971 ).
