At the Games, Viniero participated only in competitions among singles of two goals. In the first round, he defeated his compatriot Despres with a score of 2: 0 (42:40). In the second, he twice won against the French, Jacques Sotero and Blasher, but once lost to Chretien Weidelic , and therefore he took second place.
