Trillium Kamchatka , or Trillium rhomboid ( lat. Tríllium camschatcénse ) - a herbaceous plant ; species of the genus Trillium of the family Melantius .

Content
Distribution and habitat
Distributed in Kamchatka , Sakhalin , in the Amur Region and in Japan .
It grows in stony-birch forests, thickets of grass, damp meadows, along the outskirts of marshes, up to 800 m above sea level.
Botanical Description
Perennial up to 50 cm tall with a thick rhizome. The stem is straight, at the very top with a whorl of three simple, whole oval-rhombic spiky leaves 7-14 cm long, 5-12 cm wide [1] .
Actinomorphic single ternate flowers , outer perianth lobes green, inner white.
The fruit is a wide-oval brownish-green capsule , edible.
Guard Status
By the Decree of the Government of the Khabarovsk Territory dated October 27, 2006 No. 163-PR, the Kamchatka trillium is listed in the Red Book of the Khabarovsk Territory .
In Culture
It requires cultivation of constantly moist, but very light sandy, well-drained soils [2] .
