Biography
Born in Smolensk in 1921 .
In 1942 he graduated from the Moscow Institute of Chemical Engineering ; worked at NII-6 (1942-1946), then at KB-11 (now the Federal Nuclear Center VNIIEF ). In June 1955 he defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of technical sciences.
Since 1955 - at the VNIITF , where he worked on the development of atomic and hydrogen charges. During the period of work at VNIITF, he became the chief designer of design bureaus. In 1967-1988 - Deputy Minister of Medium Engineering of the USSR for the Nuclear Weapons Complex (NWC).
Doctor of Technical Sciences (1965).
He was buried at Kuntsevsky cemetery in Moscow.
