History
The first issue of the newspaper was published at the end of 1908 . Initially, the newspaper bore the name "Red Banner", then "Izvestia of the Zlatoust Uyezd Executive Committee of the Council of Workers and Peasants' Deputies", "Struggle", "Proletarian Thought", "Bolshevik Word". The newspaper received its current headline on January 25, 1953 .
The editors of the newspapers were: from 1953 to 1973 A.T. Tarabrin, V.V. Ponurov ( 1973 - 1979 ), M.A. Tarynin (from 1979 to the end of the 1990s ), A.M. Khvostov (from the late 1990s to 2015). In December 2015, the team was presented with a new leader - Denis Andreev. From March 2017 to the present, the chief editor of "ZR" is Anatoly Marmyshev. In 2001-2012. Yu. G. Zykov , Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation, was the deputy editor-in-chief (since 1980).
Among the newspaper's awards are the Honorary Diploma of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR , awarded twice the first prize in the All-Union Competition named after M.I. Ulyanova. In addition, the periodical was exhibited more than once at the Exhibition of Economic Achievements in the pavilion "Soviet Press".
