Laboucher, Henry, Baron Taunton

Henry Laboucher ( born Henry Labouchere ; August 15, 1798 , Somerset - July 13, 1869 , Somerset ) is an English politician .

Uncle of the radical Labusher , since 1826 - Member of the House of Commons , Secretary of the Viceroy of Ireland in the cabinet of John Russell ( 1846 ), Minister of the Colonies in the cabinet of Palmerston ( 1855 ). He held, among other laws, a bill to repeal laws regarding the merchant fleet. In 1859 he was elevated to the rank of peer under the name of Baron Taunton.
