In 1792 he emigrated and joined the army of Prince Conde ; after the dissolution of this corps, he joined the Shuans , then the Vendeans . During the consulate, he reconciled with the new order and took the place of mayor in Angers . After the second Restoration, he was elected to the Chamber of Deputies and became one of the most ardent ultra-royalists. When the Duke Polignac ( 1829 ) took charge of the board, Labourdonne received the briefcase of the Minister of the Interior , but after three months left this post.
