Currently it has two buildings on Vasilyevsky Island :
- 7th line of Vasilyevsky Island , 52, at the corner with Sredny Prospekt (building 31), opposite the Vasileostrovskaya metro station. The building was built in 1896 - 1897 according to the design of the architect A. R. Geschwend (with the participation of B. A. Brzhostovsky ), as the building of the urban primary schools.

Chronicle of the development of the 30th school
(from the history of its formation, transformation, moving and renaming)
The Chronicle of the Physics and Mathematics Lyceum No. 30 is based on the material of the history teacher of FML No. 30 Vitaly Ivanovich Korotkevich.
Vasileostrovskoye, with twelve united classes, the city primary school ( 1897 - 1918 ).

- October 6 (18), 1897 - ceremonial opening of the school in the house number 31 in Sredniy Avenue
- November 9, 1897 - the consecration of the home church at the school, from 1898 to May 1918, the father of the famous law historian S. V. Yushkov , V. I. Yushkov was the law teacher in the school and the rector in the church.
- October 1, 1900 - opening of the school's first canteen in the school
- August 28 - September 26, 1914 - relocation of the school to the building of the 14th city school (12th line, 13)
- January 1918 - return of the school to its native building
- May 1918 - the closure of the home church in the school house

- 1990 - Physics and Mathematics School No. 30 acquired the status of Physics and Mathematics Gymnasium
- 2002 - school status changed: now the Thirty is renamed the Physics and Mathematics Lyceum
- 2002—2004 - the lower grades are withdrawn from the school (since 2004, only in the 5th, 8th, 9th and 10th classes are enrolled)
- 2005 - the historic building was returned to the school. Since September 2005 classes have been taught here in math classes.
- 2013 - the school was given the status of the Governor's Physics and Mathematics Lyceum
The set is made in 5, 8, 9 and 10 classes. All classes from 5 to 7 study in the building on the street. Shevchenko. Classes 8 to 11 are in the building on line 7. Upon completion of Grade 7, students who have successfully mastered the program go to Grade 8 with an in-depth study of mathematics, physics, and programming. In parallel with these classes, one or two more 8th pupils from other schools in the city are recruited. At 9 and 10, another new class is recruited. Thus, in the 2013-2014 school year, two fifth, two sixth, two seventh, four eighth, five ninth, six tenth and five eleventh grades study at the lyceum.
