The original station was located between 7th and 8th Street (near Sandman Hotel); it was opened on May 25, 1981 and its route was from 8th Street to Anderson . On February 27, 2009, the new West Seventh Street station was built, which is located between 6th and 7th Street. The old platform was closed and demolished shortly after.
The platform can handle 4 cars simultaneously, like all 7 avenue platforms.
In 2005, an average passenger flow of 12,400 landings was recorded [2] .
