Carp fish of medium size, the maximum length of individual species is from 18.3 to 49.6 cm. They live exclusively in Asian [2] freshwater bodies [3] . Most live in temperate and subtropical climates, some in high mountain rivers.
False Osman Nagorets ( Schizopygopsis stoliczkai ) lives in the mountainous part of the Indus and Brahmaputra rivers in India . It is found in Tibet . In Tajikistan, it is available only in the Pamirs . Here it reaches sixty-five centimeters in length, but it is possible to meet with larger specimens. Members of the hydrological party, who carried out work on Turumtaykul Lake, caught a fish a meter and a half in size. The body of the false Ottoman is torpedo-shaped, hydrodynamically perfect. Does not have scales [4] .
