Ryazan is a Russian football club from the city of the same name . Created in November 2009 under the name "Star" after the removal of FC "Ryazan" . Since 2010, it has been declared in the Center zone of the second division of the championship of Russia.

History
Zvezda finished the 2010 season in 11th place, gaining 42 points, scoring 37 goals (1.23 on average per match), and missing 49 (1.63 on average per match). The team's top scorer with 15 goals scored was Ilya Borodin .
The season 2011/2012 the team finished in 12th place, scoring 44 goals in 39 games, and having conceded 60. The best scorer was Yevgeny Falkovsky with 6 goals in his account.
Zvezda completed the 2012/2013 season in 11th place, scoring 39 points in 30 games, scoring 47 goals (1.57 on average per match) and 36 goals (1.2 on average per match). The team's top scorer was Zhumaldin Karatlyashev with 8 goals scored. [2] [3]
In the 2013/2014 season, Zvezda reached the 1/8 finals of the Cup of Russia for the first time in its history, beating the Moscow Torpedo in the 1/32 finals 2: 1, and the Kuban 4: 2 in the penalty spot 1/16 ( regular time 2: 2). In 1/8, the Ryazan team played with Krasnodar and lost 2: 3.
As of April 15, 2014, in the second division, the Center zone, Zvezda took 10th place with 23 points scored after 21 matches played.
On June 17, it was announced that Viktor Navochenko became the new head coach of FC Ryazan [4] .
