Biography
He graduated from the St. Petersburg Theater School . Before completing his studies, he performed as a soloist in the ballet Harlem Tulip and immediately won the sympathy of the public. In 1891 - 1910 - Soloist of the Mariinsky Theater . In 1909 - 1911 participated in the Russian seasons . Since 1910 he has not returned to Russia. In 1919 he came to Lithuania , arranged several ballet evenings in Kaunas and organized a dance and plastic studio. In the early 1920s choreographer of the Vienna Opera , since 1925 - the Buenos Aires Theater “Colon” , since 1930 - the Kaunas Musical Theater.
