Infrastructure
Most of the country's electricity is generated at a power plant in the town of Boali in Ombella Mpoko Prefecture . Most of the fuel is imported from Cameroon or the DRC , which leads to interruptions in the supply of gasoline , diesel fuel and jet fuel .
The country's transport network is very weak:

- total - 39 (2013) [1] , including:
- with a hard coating - 2 (from 2438 to 3047 m - 1, from 1524 to 2437 - 1)

Finance
CAR's financial sector, the smallest in CEMAC , plays a very limited role in supporting economic growth. Suffering from a weak market, the financial system remains small, undeveloped, with the dominant position of commercial banks. Due to the nature of the population of the country and for security reasons, all financial activities are concentrated in the capital of Bangui . Only 1% of the population has bank deposits. Microfinance accounts for 1% of the country's lending capacity, serving 0.5% of the population.
Agriculture
72% of the CAR population are engaged in agriculture. It accounts for 58% of GDP. In the north of the country, sorghum (42.8 thousand tons) and millet are grown , in the south - corn (110 thousand tons), cassava (563 thousand tons), yams (350 thousand tons) and rice (29.7 thousand tons). t). Bananas , cotton and coffee are grown . Food crops play a larger role than export crops. Thus, the production of cassava, the daily food of Central Africans, ranges from 400 to 600 thousand tons, and the production of cotton, the main export crop, is in the range of 25 - 45 thousand tons per year. Food crops are not exported in large quantities, but they are the main export item, since the income from their seasonal sale is higher than the income from the export of cotton or coffee. In addition, strong alcohol or sorghum beer is made from food crops. Revenues from their sale also make up a significant part of the budget.
Fishing
Fishing is common mainly along rivers. The bulk of the catch is sold in DRC . In 1950, the government began a program to support fish farming, and by the end of 1968 there were about 12 thousand ponds in the country used for fish farming. In 2003, the total catch amounted to 15 thousand tons.
Industry
Industry produces about 12% of GDP. Diamonds and gold are mined , but gold is declining. There is a uranium ore deposit near Baku, but it is not being developed. The manufacturing industry is mainly represented by food and light industry enterprises - the production of food, beer, clothing, building materials.
