Alla Leonovna Semenas ( September 28, 1937 - June 16, 2007 ) - Doctor of Philology, specialist in lexicology and lexicography of the Chinese language. She graduated from the Faculty of Chinese Language and Literature at Peking University in 1961. For many years she worked in the Language Department of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences . The author of about 80 scientific papers.
She took part in the preparation of the “Great Sino-Russian Dictionary” edited by Professor I. M. Oshanin and lexicographic work on the “Chinese-Russian Dictionary” (published by the Shanghai Institute of Foreign Languages).
