About the album
A break in the music career went to Harrison for the benefit. With the help of long-time fan of The Beatles, producer Jeff Lynn Harrison once again gathered a star team, including his long-time friend guitarist Eric Clapton , Elton John on keyboards and Ringo Starr for drums. The musicians recorded such hits as “ This is Love ”, “ Devil's Radio ”, “Got My Mind Set on You”, as well as the ironically nostalgic “ When We Was Fab ” in the spirit of The Beatles from the time of psychedelia. The disc was the last studio work Harrison, released during his lifetime.
Critics rather unanimously noted the freshness and vigor of Harrison's new work:
“Harrison’s radiant smile on the cover photo speaks for itself - the guitarist obviously enjoyed working in the studio.” [2]
