Hematoporphyrin (from hemato ... and Greek. Porphyra - purple , crimson , dark red ) - a pigment of purple color; formed by the action on hematin , hemin and hemoglobin of strong acids. In insignificant quantities found in the urine of a healthy person; in large quantities released during lead poisoning , zinc oxide , anemia and liver disease . For the first time, its structure was decoded by Jewish scholars M. V. Nentsky and I. A. Zalessky in 1900. [one]
