The genus of this family name dates back to the 15th century ; Thomas Korvin-Kuczynski , major of the Lithuanian forces, owned the name Kuchin with peasants until 1701, inherited by his descendants, many of whom were granted various ranks and privileges by the privileges of the Polish kings, and subsequently served the Russian Empire in civil and military service.
The clan was introduced by Heraldry into the VI part of the genealogical books of the Vilna , Volyn , Kiev , Minsk [2] and Podolsk [3] provinces of the Russian Empire .

In a silver shield, an scarred horseshoe with spikes down. On it is a scarlet cross with wide ends. On it stands a black raven with scarlet eyes, a beak and claws, holding a lazure ring in its beak.
The shield is crowned with a noble crowned helmet. Crest: a black raven with scarlet eyes, a beak and claws holds a lazure ring in its beak. Namet: black on the right with silver, black on the left with silver.
