"Admiralteyskaya" - the planned [2] [3] [4] station of the St. Petersburg metro . In the case of the project, it will be located on the Nevsko-Vasileostrovskaya line between the Gostiny Dvor and Vasileostrovskaya stations and have a transition to the currently existing Admiralteyskaya 5 line station .

Initially, the station was part of the design of the first launch site of the Nevsko-Vasileostrovskaya line, the lobby was to be located on the corner of Gogol Street and Brick Lane. [5] However, in order to accelerate the construction of the entire line, a number of stations were excluded from the project, including Admiralteyskaya. [6] . “The concept for the development of the metro and other types of high-speed off-street transport in St. Petersburg for the period until 2020 ” does not provide for the construction of the station until 2020.
The technical design of the station does not yet exist [3] , but there are suggestions that the station will be a pylon [2] .
At this point, the tunnels of the Nevsko-Vasileostrovskaya line have a fairly long straight section that can be turned into a full-fledged station. However, the construction of the station without stopping traffic on the stretch " Gostiny Dvor " - " Vasileostrovskaya " is impossible, since during its penetration no groundwork was left [3] . Therefore, in order to avoid a sharp deterioration in the transport situation on Vasilievsky Island and Dekabristov Island , which, if there were no other metro stations on the islands, would inevitably have followed the disconnection of Primorskaya and Vasileostrovskaya with the rest of the St. Petersburg metro network, the question of starting the construction of the station would be considered only after extension of the Right-Bank line to Vasilyevsky Island , or after the opening of the first stage of the Okhta-Petrograd Line [3] [7] . The situation is further complicated by the fact that the Gostiny Dvor station has no exit or a reverse deadlock. Touched by a transplant from the current “ Admiralteyskaya ” line 5 , it is currently walled up with a powerful concrete plug [4] . In case of construction, the station will be located above the Admiralteyskaya-1 station, parallel to it [8] . Also, most likely, it will have a general large inclined course with the Admiralteyskaya Frunzensko-Primorsky line due to its location. For the construction of a columned or closed type station, the tunnel walls had to be made of special tubing, which was not provided for in this case, so the pylon tower is the most likely option [9] .
The Lenmetrogiprotrans Institute proposes, without interrupting the movement of trains, to build a combined interchange two-vault two-story station over the existing tunnels on the Nevsko-Vasileostrovskaya and Admiralteysko-Okhtinsky lines. [ten]
Station in Literature
- The station appears in the post-apocalyptic novel by Shimun Wrochek " Peter ". According to him, Admiralteyskaya-2 is not completely completed and is a closed type station (and not a pylon station, as in the project). There, its depth is 115 meters, which makes the Admiralty the deepest station in the world. .
Notes
- ↑ The station of the Nevsko-Vasileostrovskaya line should be built earlier and therefore was considered the first in relation to the station of the same name on the Frunzensko-Primorskaya line, which was to open later and therefore was called “Admiralteyskaya-2” in the project. Due to the fact that the station of the Frunzensko-Primorsky line was opened earlier, now the station “Admiralteyskaya-2” is called the station of the Nevsko-Vasileostrovskaya line.
