Career
Hamit Altintop was born in Gelsenkirchen. The first football steps began to do in the clubs "Schwarz-Weiss Gelsenkirchen" and "Rotthausen". In 1997, the 15-year-old Hamit moved to the youth team "Wattenscheid 09". Three years later he became a player in the main team. At the same time, his twin brother, Halil Altyntop, played along with him.
On May 19, 2011 Altintop became a player in Real Madrid [1] [2] [3] . On September 27, 2011, for the first time since the injury, Altintop played for Real Madrid in the match against Ajax (Real won 3: 0).
On July 13, 2012, he signed a contract with the Turkish club Galatasaray . The amount of transfer was about 3 million euros [4] . On January 5, 2017, the club terminated the contract with Altyntop ahead of schedule. [five]
