The Alfelsleben Convention is an agreement between Prussia and Russia, concluded on January 27 ( February 8 ), 1863 , during the Polish Uprising of 1863 .
It was signed in St. Petersburg by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince A. M. Gorchakov, and the Adjutant General of the Prussian King Gustav von Alvensleben . The agreement allowed the Russian troops to pursue the rebels in Prussian territory, and the Prussian troops in Russian territory. It has not been ratified.
