Ptolemy VII Neos Philopator ( dr. Greek Πτολεμαῖος Φος Φιλοπάτωρ ) is the second son of Ptolemy VI Philometor and Cleopatra II , who ruled for several months as co-ruler of his father, and after his death nominally became the only ruler during the regency of his mother. When she entered into an alliance with Ptolemy VIII Yergetet II Fiscon , he was killed on the day of their wedding.
