Chinese verkhovka ^[1] ( lat. Aphyocypris ) is a genus of carp fish. They live in East Asia .

Description

Freshwater fish. The mouth has a lower position. Antennae not. Sideline incomplete. In the species Aphyocypris pulchrilineata, the lateral line is absent ^[2] .
