Grigor Evgenievich Areshyan ( Armenian Գրիգոր Արեշյան , May 13, 1949 , Yerevan ) - Armenian statesman.

- 1970 - 1973 - graduate student of Yerevan State University . Candidate of Historical Sciences.
- 1970 - 1973 - laboratory assistant at the Department of Archeology of Yerevan State University .
- 1973 - 1980 - Junior Researcher at the Center for Armenian Studies of Yerevan State University .
- 1980 - 1981 - Senior Researcher, and then Deputy Head of the Monument Protection Department under the Council of Ministers of the Armenian SSR .
- 1981 - 1987 - Head of the Laboratory of Yerevan State University .
- Since 1987 - Associate Professor of Yerevan State University .
- 1987 - 1991 - Deputy Director of the Institute of Archeology of the Academy of Sciences of the Armenian SSR .
- 1991 - 1992 - was the Minister of State of Armenia ; headed the state delegation in negotiations with Russia [1] .
