Roger whittaker
Roger Whittaker Roger Whittaker ( March 22, 1936 , Nairobi , Kenya ) - British singer, performer (in English, German and French) and composer.
He spent his childhood and youth in Africa, where his parents once moved for economic reasons. After serving in the army , Roger originally planned to become a physician and entered the University of Cape Town (South Africa). After one and a half years of study, he expelled and began pedagogy. In 1959 he moved to the UK, studied zoology, biochemistry and marine biology. He continued to sing in nightclubs (this hobby appeared in him back in Africa). The first professional album was released in 1962. In the spring of 1964 he married, 5 children grew up in marriage.
Among his melodies, Song Sung Blue (Melody sung with sadness) received the greatest fame.
