Nelli Vladimir Gromova (born September 18, 1939 , Kursk Region ) is a Russian Africanist, linguist , philologist , Swahili language and literature specialist. Head of the Department of African Studies, ISAA at Moscow State University , professor at the Center for Anthropology of the East, Faculty of History of Political Science and Law, RSUH . She participated in the Comprehensive Expedition of the African Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the United Republic of Tanzania [1] .
