Filmed in the Canadian city of Wawa ( Ontario ), the film talks about the friendship between autistic Linda (Weaver) and Alex (Rickman), after an accident that killed Linda's daughter.
The film was a participant in various film festivals - in Edinburgh , Toronto , Seattle, participated in the Tribeca festival, and was shown at the opening of the Berlin Film Festival .
Content
Story
The film takes place in the Canadian province of Ontario. Alex is a middle-aged man who has just left prison, where he was serving a term for the murder of a man who hit his son with a car. Vivien is a young, romantic and eccentric girl. Vivien persuades Alex to give her a ride on the way home to her mother. But the ridiculous, terrible accident in which Vivienne dies, completely unpredictably invades the life of Alex and Vivien's mother, Linda.
