The history of the buildings of RNIMU
In connection with the increase in the number of students of the 2nd MOLGMI them. N.I. Pirogov and the lack of space in the building on Pirogovka (Khusalanov per.), In September 1965, the USSR Council of Ministers allowed the design and construction of educational and laboratory buildings of the institute in the south-west of Moscow with a total area of ββ15,000 mΒ².
The new building of the institute with a laboratory building (TsNIL) was built on the right bank of the Ochakovka River (now enclosed in a pipe) on the site of the former Bogorodskoye estate, which still has the old trees of the park at the estate. On the site of residential buildings in the village of Bogorodskoye - now there are multi-storey residential buildings (Akademika Bakuleva St. - Ostrovityanova St. - Leninsky Prospekt). It was on the territory of Moscow the village of Bogorodskoye-Voronino, on the Ochakovka river. The huts stood on the left bank, where now the buildings of 123, listed on Leninsky Prospekt. And on the right bank were a church, a manor and a park with a pond. Now , only the remains of the park have been preserved from the Bogorodskoye-Voronino estate , and the Russian State Medical University is in its place. In 2014, Expert RA agency included the university in the list of the best higher education institutions of the Commonwealth of Independent States , where it was assigned a rating class βDβ [2] .
Structure
Faculty of Medicine
Dean of the faculty: Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Dvornikov Anton Sergeevich.
At the medical faculty of RNIMU they provide knowledge and practical skills in more than 50 medical specialties. In the diplomas of graduates of the Faculty of Medicine βmedical doctorβ is recorded.
Studying is divided into several stages. The first is undergraduate, and the second is postgraduate training. In elementary courses, students learn the basic disciplines that they need in the clinic in the future - biology, physics, chemistry, anatomy, histology and several others, as well as Latin and foreign languages ββ(English, French, German), philosophy, economic theory, physical education and others. In the third year, they study operational surgery and topographic anatomy, pathological anatomy and pathological physiology, pharmacology and other disciplines. A third-year summer examination session is considered the most difficult. In senior courses, practice takes place in clinics: as a nurse, as an assistant to a doctor.
In the course of study, knowledge is checked not only at exam sessions, but also during the semester. These are various test tasks, solution of situational problems, colloquiums, seminars, laboratory works.
The glory of the Faculty of Medicine was made up of the great representatives of medicine S. I. Spasokukotsky , P. E. Lukomsky , I. V. Davydovsky , B. S. Preobrazhensky , E. I. Martsinovsky , V. A. Gilyarovsky , A. I. Nesterov , A N. Bakulev , V. D. Timakov , 3. P. Soloviev , V. S. Saveliev , V. N. Yarygin , N. A. Lopatkin , E. B. Mazo , Yu. A. Nesterenko , A. P Nesterov , V. A. Dean of the faculty: doctor of medical sciences, professor Ilyenko Lidia Ivanovna [3] .
In 1930 [4] , a pediatric faculty was opened at the N.I. Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University, at that time - the 2nd Moscow Medical Institute. This is one of the first pediatric training faculties in the country. And although now in Russia pediatricians are trained at 38 faculties, the pediatric faculty of RNIMU them. N.I. Pirogova - presenter. The worthy successors of the great pediatric teachers are working here - world-famous scientists, excellent doctors and brilliant organizers.
Among them are academicians and corresponding members of the Russian Academy of Sciences: Yu. F. Isakov, N. I. Nisevich, N. S. Kislyak, G. M. Saveliev, O. V. Volkova, V. F. Uchaikin, E. A. Stepanov, V. A. Mikhelson, Yu. G. Pivovarov, Yu. P. Lisitsin, M. R. Bogomilsky, E. I. Sidorenko; professors Yu. G. Mukhin, G. A. Samsygin, V. F. Demin, B. N. Budlaev, N. P. Katlukov, I. M. Osmanov, A. A. Terentyev, V. A. Filin and many others.
Since the potential for the health of the country's population has been forming since childhood, then, as the first People's Commissar of Health N. A. Semashko wrote back in 1923, "the recovery of the population should begin with the recovery of the mother and child." Naturally, this makes it necessary to train doctors who are highly professional and qualified in pediatrics - the science of childhood diseases, their diagnosis, treatment and prevention.
- Principles of Learning
Students study medicine, its various aspects for six years at 54 departments of the University. Training is carried out not only in specialized pediatric departments, but also in departments where diseases are studied among adults.
In addition to clinical training, pediatricians study basic sciences. After graduating from a pediatrician, graduates have the opportunity to work in any medical specialty.
In addition to theoretical training, students must complete practical training. In accordance with the curriculum, students undergo internships as assistants: after the second year, medical orderlies, after the third year, the ward nurse, after the fourth year, the hospital doctor ( surgery , therapy , obstetrics and gynecology ), and after the fifth year, the clinic doctor.
The fundamental difference from other faculties of the University
The main difference is that, in all departments, students, along with general issues of medicine, the study of diagnostics and treatment in connection with the anatomical and physiological processes in the human body, master the knowledge about the features of the course of physiological and pathological processes, manifestations of the disease and treatment tactics in depending on age and gender characteristics of children. Particular attention in the departments of the faculty is given to the prevention and upbringing of a healthy child
Thus, in RNIMU them. N.I. Pirogov created the conditions for preparing for entrance exams, and the departments of the pediatric faculty have everything necessary for theoretical and clinical training, acquiring practical skills, and fixing them during the practical training.
