Kishkunschag ( Hungarian. Kiskunsági Nemzeti Park ) is a national park in southern Hungary , in the Southern Alföld region on the territory of Bach-Kishkun County .

The area of the park is 570 km. The park was founded in 1975 , declared a UNESCO biosphere reserve, preserving intact samples of the steppe ecosystem.
The largest city near the park is Kecskemét , and there is also a bureau organizing visits to the reserve.
The name of the park was given to the name of the historical region Kishkunshag (Malaya Kumania) in the interfluve of the Danube and Tisza , in whose territory it is located. The park lies in the center of the Central Danube plain . There are few rivers, the climate is quite arid, there are many sandstones, swampy and saline meadows. Hills are practically absent.
The park consists of 7 unprotected protected areas scattered throughout Kishkunshag.
The park is inhabited by a population of bustards , a large number of various waterfowl. The salt lakes of the park serve as a refuge for migratory birds during seasonal migrations.
