The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia ( CCI of Russia ) is the Russian Chamber of Commerce , a voluntary non-governmental association of entrepreneurs operating in accordance with a special federal law. It unites more than several hundred territorial chambers of commerce and industry and other associations and associations of Russian entrepreneurs, and its direct members are individual commercial and non - profit organizations.
The Chairs are Stanislav Smirnov (1991-2001), Evgeny Primakov (2001-2011), Sergey Katyrin (since 2011).

Institution
The constituent congress of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the RSFSR was held on October 19, 1991 .
On July 7, 1993, the federal law "On Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the Russian Federation" [1] was adopted, within the framework of which the phrase "chamber of commerce", "chamber of industry" and "chamber of commerce" became possible to use in the names of organizations only with permission of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia. The law also provided for the possibility of organizing only one chamber of commerce in each constituent entity of the Russian Federation and municipality .
Structure
The structure of the chamber includes 20 committees, and the chamber also has the International Commercial Arbitration Court , the Arbitration Court for the resolution of economic disputes, the Maritime Arbitration Commission , Sports Arbitration, the College of Mediators. The structure of the chamber also includes foreign representative offices, several dozen international business councils (formed to interact with entrepreneurs of individual countries and regions), various expert and coordination councils.
In addition, the structure of the chamber includes such organizations as the World Trade Center , Expocenter , Soyuzekspertiza , Soyuzpatent and others, in which the chamber is the founder or owns a controlling stake.
