The sound of the Bamboo at the 11th hour is a Soviet musical group formed in Izhevsk in the late 1980s. After recording the album “Easy business is cold” in 1991 and the departure of vocalist Tatyana Erokhina, the collective ceased to exist.

History
The musical group “Knock of bamboo at the eleventh hour” was formed by three members Dmitry Noskov, Vasily Agafonov and Kostya Bagaev, who collected all kinds of noises and sounds.

The lyrics and the artistic image of the collective were influenced by Kortasar , Kafka , Kobo Abe .
Soon Kostya Bagaev buys the Polivox synthesizer and the group begins its experiments in the field of electronic sound. Six months later, the team decides that the project needs a vocalist - this is how Tanya Erokhina's lively voice joins the group.

Soon, a black and white video was shot in the university basement for the song “The Horse of My Life”, which won first place in the All-Union competition of Program A.
Kostya Bagaev recalls how lyrics were written:
| I included the instrumental part of the melody, recorded several times in a row on an hour-long film. music dictated the theme. Then I took a huge English-Russian dictionary and from several translation options, the memory snatched out individual words, which then turned into phrases |
The only album was recorded at Bagaev’s apartment. In addition to the group, Andrey Gostev and Dmitry Lekomtsev took part in the recording (guitar and bass in Coastal Autumn). At the end of the recording, Dmitry Noskov leaves. In the design of the cover was used a real photo story. Another video clip (for the final composition of the album "Snow Honey") won first place in the program " Exotica ", which was released in the early 90s on RTR .
Interesting Facts
- The composition “Fragile Two” is present in the soundtrack for the film “ One Love in a Million ”.
- Due to the lack of a sampler, music was recorded using three tape recorders connected in series to each other, on which various sounds were played, from which the final melody was formed.
