History
The forerunner of this program was the transfer of "According to the letters of the viewers" (1973). She came out on Saturdays at 10:00. The speaker of the Central Television was led by Yuri Kovelenov . On September 7, 1974, the first release of the program under the new name “Morning Post” [9] was released .
The host of the "Morning Mail" was mainly Yuri Nikolaev . However, besides him, the broadcasting stations at various times were broadcasted by CT speakers ( Tatiana Vedeneyeva , Natalia Andreeva, Valeria Rizhskaya and others), actors ( Victoria Lepko , Alexander Shirvindt and Mikhail Derzhavin , Klara Novikova and others), domestic ( Alla Pugacheva , Sofia Rotaru , Xenia Georgiadi , Sergey Minaev and others) and foreign ( Karel Gott , Gelena Vondrachkova , Clari Cato, Judith Süch and others) performers.
Initially, the program was planned as a concert of the performances of the most popular performers, and yet it was decided to make a series of musical transmission at the request of viewers. There were tons of letters to the program, but later Yuri Nikolaev confessed: “... we did not compile the program according to these letters. Because, if it’s right for the letters, then in each program Pugacheva , Antonov , Kobzon , Rotaru would sound ”. [ten]
The show was filmed not only in the Moscow studio, but also in other cities and republics of the USSR (for example, Odessa [11] , Alushta [12] , Uglich [13] , Georgia , Kazakhstan ( Alma-Ata ) and others). There were also releases in conjunction with the Swedish musical television program “Jacob's Ladder” - ““ Jacob's Ladder ”on a visit to the Morning Post” (1987) [14] and Morning Mail on a visit to Jacob's Ladder (1988) [ 15] .
“Morning Post” and Yuri Nikolaev are mentioned in the song of the group “Mr. Twister” “Rock and roll without validol”, [16] , and also (twice) in the song of Alexander Gradsky “Alien motive. Imitation of Bulat Okudzhava "( " A low voice uttered: "I am the Morning Post Editor" and "And the Post" did not let the song finish the song " ). By the way, Gradsky sang this song in the Morning Post (Prostokvashino edition) [17] .
In 1990, Nikolaev left the program (in particular, he led the " Morning Star "). In 1997, Yuri Nikolayev returned to the program and conducted it for several more years, of which the first year was paired with the Belarusian TV presenter and singer Larisa Gribaleva, who had already conducted a similar program in Belarus - “Everything is fine, mother”.
In 1999, the production of the program passed to the newly formed Musical Editorial Board of ORT OJSC [18] . The new producer immediately tightened control over the quality of the shown video clips. The clips that did not satisfy ORT in terms of quality, level of performance and the presence of taboo topics in them were not broadcast [19] . The latest issue on ORT was released on September 23, 2001 [20] . Among the possible reasons for the closure may be the fact that due to the appearance on the air of specialized music channels, the program began to look and be perceived as something obsolete and secondary [21] . Since 2002, the transfer goes on the TV channel " Russia ". Initially, Marina Golub led her, and now Alexander and Valery Ponomarenko lead. A similar program on the channel “Russia” has already been - “Good morning, the country!” (Its participants were led by the cabaret duet “Academy” - Lolita Milavskaya and Alexander Tsekalo ). Now the program shows mainly recordings from concerts and festivals that go on the channel “Russia”, as well as the programs “Saturday Evening”, “Song of the Year”, “Humorina” and others. And only at the end of the video clip is shown.
From 2008 to 2012, Belarus launched its own version of the program on the RTR-Belarus channel. The presenters were Yuri Nikolaev (until 2009) and Larisa Gribaleva, who previously conducted it on the ORT channel [22] .
In 2011, the program was broadcast by the Ukrainian television channel Inter , and Alla Pugacheva and Maksim Galkin (produced by Kvartal-95 studio ) [23] .
