Krasilshchikov, Arkady Lvovich

Arkady Krasilshchikov was born in Leningrad on December 18, 1945 .

He worked at a factory, graduated from a school for working youth, then made an attempt to become an engineer, but to no avail. I had to go to VGIK . Since 1969 - screenwriter with a diploma. Member of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia. Prior to repatriation to Israel, he authored or directed 19 major films. The most notable works are: Dogs, Cuckold, We Go to America.

He repatriated to Israel in 1996 .

He worked as a journalist in the “News of the Week” concern (more than 2 thousand articles, essays, essays, stories published in the Russian-language press of Israel, Russia, the USA, Germany, Canada, etc.).

The author of five collections of prose.

In 2002, he returned to work in Russian cinema. The list of works replenished with six more names in Russia and three in Israel. The most successful tape " Traveling with Pets ."

MIFF 2007 Grand Prix, a number of awards at other festivals in the world. Nominee for the Golden Eagle National Award for Best Screenplay.
