Organization and Reorganization
The School of Red Elders in Kharkov was established in 1920 as the central military school of Soviet Ukraine with the prospect of deploying various military branches to the network of national military schools. Its organization was influenced by the concept of Leon Trotsky about the creation of local Red armies in the Soviet republics. In 1921, the Kiev School of Red Officers began work, and in October 1922, both institutions merged into the so-called Joint School of Red Officers , which lost its central status. Since October 1923, the school was called the 5th Joint School of Red Officers , and from the end of 1924, the School of Red Officers named after WUCIC. "
From October 1922 to September 1923, as an assistant to the head of the political part of the school, and from December 1928 to April 1929, to the positions of assistant to the head and head of the school, Kirponos Mikhail Petrovich worked, who graduated from the Kiev Red Officers School in 1922 as an external student.
