Reviews

“Professor Avner Yakovlevich Zis told me (1957) that he worked with Krupskaya and often saw her. Once he expressed some judgment, and Krupskaya assessed it as incorrect. Zis answered:

- So it is written by Comrade Stalin.

Krupskaya objected:

- Lenin thought differently. You decide who you agree with: Lenin or Stalin.

“With Lenin,” Zis said, and looked around. ” [4]

“I remember how practically the applause at our academic council at the institute was made by the philosopher Avner Yakovlevich Zis, verbally reviewing a lengthy dissertation. He didn’t have a manuscript or a note with notes, but he flaunted page numbers and quoted long paragraphs on his teeth. Scientists were delighted. And I'm with them. It was a circus number. The content of the dissertation was of little interest to anyone. ” [5]

“We have a philosophy, then Marxism-Leninism was taught by Avner Yakovlevich Zis. Very powerful philosopher . And he believed that philosophy and a woman, especially an artist, are incompatible things. He put fours and fives for all the students. And I came to him for the first time, not knowing anything about it and taking everything seriously, so I mastered some articles by Lenin and Engels' Anti Dühring. A few years ago, I was looking for a book at home and stumbled upon the brochure “Anti Dühring,” and there, in the margins, with pencil, were my notes. That is, I thoroughly studied it. And on the exam I came across "Anti Dühring". I said something like: first, the author writes like this, and in the other chapter the exact opposite is obtained. There was a huge pause, the teacher took off his glasses with thick lenses, wiped them on, put them on and in horror asked: “Have you read Anti Dühring?” I honestly admitted: “Yes, I didn’t read much from the rest.” And then he exclaimed: “Do not read more of this, you need not, my dear, five!” ” [6]
