Tetley ( English Tetley ) is a tea brand that has more than 60 kinds of tea and is sold in 40 countries of the world . The Tetley Group is a division of the Tata Tea Limited , a member of the Tata Group , and the world's second largest producer and distributor of tea.
History
In 1856, Joseph Tetley and Joseph Ackland founded the company Joseph Tetley & Company, Wholesale Tea Dealers. [one]
In 1953 packaged tea appeared in England . It was first introduced by Tetley.
In 1989, Tetley introduced a round tea bag with perforated holes.
In 1994, Tetley developed a tea bag with a drawstring . [2]
