Akbet is the highest mountain peak of Pavlodar region (1022 m.) [1] . It is located in the Bayanaul mountains , has smooth outlines, gentle slopes are covered mostly with pine forests, the northern side is covered with pine groves. Akbet is composed of hard rocks ( granite , quartzite , shale ). On the western slope is the Witches Gorge, where there are many springs . Toraigyr Lake is located at the foot of the northern slope of Mount Akbet.
