Apprentice Felipe Pedrell . In 1891, together with Amedeu Vives, he founded the Catalan Orpheus choir ( Cat. Orfeó Català ) and led it for many years (later the son of Lewis Maria Milliet was the long-term leader of the choir). Among the works of Migliet - “Catalanes” for piano, Eclogue for piano and orchestra and a number of choral works, including the famous “Song of the Flag” in Catalonia ( Cat. Cant de la Senyera ; 1896 , to the verses of Joan Maragal ), banned in 1939 - 1960 as one of the symbols of the Catalan national movement.
He was buried in the Montjuic cemetery ( Cat. Cementiri de Montjuïc ) in Barcelona.
